The video below features Vijay Singh’s power golf swing in slow motion. It is an incredible illustration of how proper rotation in both the upper and lower body can come together to generate incredible golf swing speed, distance and power consistently and with minimal effort. Look for a few things in this video:
Excellent hip and shoulder rotation.
He releases his hips first, then shoulders and finally his wrists to deliver maximum power to the golf ball.
Contact very high on the golf club face for maximum distance off the tee.

As the announcer says, you need a tremendous amount of golf specific strength and flexibility in addition to great core/rotational strength in order to drive for maximum distance and Vijay has it all. As a result, he can develop incredible lag, control his body’s rotation and execute his swing consistently. I guess the Speed Stik does work wonders.
